Submission requirements for External Parties
If you are a recruiter, future employer, or background check agency seeking verification:
To process your request, you must provide a signed consent or authorisation form from the current or former employee. For security and legal compliance, requests received without this signed documentation attached cannot be fulfilled.
How to Submit a Request:
Please email your verification request, along with the required signed authorisation, directly to people.experience@farfetch.com.
Please allow 3–5 business days for data verification. Your official response will be sent once this process is complete.
Our Verification & Reference Policy
FARFETCH operates under a strict Factual Data Only policy. Official company references will only confirm the following details:
- Job Title(s) held during employment
- Dates of Employment (start and end date)
FARFETCH does not provide subjective feedback regarding an employee’s performance, character, salary history, or reason for leaving on behalf of the company.
A Note on Personal References
FARFETCH employees and managers may provide personal recommendations or LinkedIn endorsements to former colleagues at their own discretion. Please note that these are provided in a personal capacity and do not constitute an official company reference.
