Farfetch was born out of a deep love of fashion and a profound belief that fashion is an essential expression of individuality and what makes each of us unique.

Farfetch was founded by José Neves in 2007

October 2008

Farfetch launched, selling products from 25 boutiques in 5 countries.

2010

Supply now comes from over 64 boutiques and the first office in USA (LA) is opened, as well as in Brazil (Sao Paolo).

2014

Our partner network expands and now includes over 300 boutiques in 35 countries.

2015

More boutiques and first direct brand partners join the platform, including those from new supply markets; Japan and Australia. Local offices are opened across Asia including China and Hong Kong.

May 2015

Farfetch acquires renowned boutique Browns and launches Store of The Future business unit.

October 2015

The business unit Farfetch Black & White launches offering white labelled digital solutions to brands.

2016

Farfetch now has almost 500 boutique partners and 200 direct brand partners.

February 2017

Natalie Massenet joins Farfetch as non-executive co-chairman.

April 2017

Farfetch hosts first conference for brands, FarfetchOS and unveils BETA version of Store of The Future Technology and launches 90-minute delivery service launches in ten cities across four continents.

June 2017

Farfetch and Condé Nast announce global content and commerce partnership, Farfetch acquires Style.com.

JD.com and Farfetch Partner to Open Ultimate Gateway for Bringing Luxury Brands to China.

Farfetch and Chalhoub Group join forces to build the leading platform for luxury in the Middle East.

Chanel and Farfetch sign an exclusive innovation partnership deal to create a customized augmented retail experience in Chanel's boutiques.

March 2018

Farfetch welcomes its first department store partner, Harvey Nichols.
