Farfetch sponsors the 2017 Costume Institute Benefit and partners with Dot COMME

Farfetch, the platform for the world’s greatest selection of luxury, is proud to be a sponsor of the 2017 Costume Institute Benefit on Monday 1 May 2017; marking the opening of the Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between Costume Institute exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. To celebrate the opening, Farfetch will feature an interview with Andrew Bolton, Curator In Charge of the Costume Institute, and Edward Barsamian, Vogue US Style Editor, for the inside knowledge on this year’s exhibit.

Farfetch will also partner with renowned Comme des Garçons archive boutique Dot COMME to pay homage to Rei Kawakubo and Comme des Garçons through the decades, with a retrospective editorial shoot of both archive and current men’s and women’s pieces on the Farfetch site.

Based in Melbourne, Australia, Dot COMME Founder, Octavius La Rosa, has sourced and curated an extensive collection of unique Comme des Garçons pieces, acquired from all over the globe, for over a decade.
