PARIS, FRANCE (July 7th, 2021) – KARL LAGERFELD is pleased to announce the official launch of an exclusive capsule collection with fashion designer Kenneth Ize. The KARL LAGERFELD X KENNETH IZE collection will be available online at KARL.com, FARFETCH.com, Brownsfashion.com, and in the Paris Saint Germain & London Regent
Street KARL LAGERFELD stores starting July 7, 2021.


The KARL LAGERFELD X Kenneth Ize capsule collection for Spring-Summer 2021 is a fusion of Nigerian and European style. Proposed and curated by Style Advisor Carine
Roitfeld, the collaboration pairs eye-catching prints with smart silhouettes. The signature black-and-white KARL LAGERFELD palette is combined with bright pops of color in patterns inspired by traditional aso oke cloth. 

Kenneth Ize and KARL LAGERFELD Design Director, Hun Kim, co-created the collection of ready-to-wear, gender-neutral styles and accessories that reflect a sophisticated intersection of two worlds. The result is a glowing celebration of culture and elevated design.


All fabrics used for the accessories, including keychains and a phone bag are sourced from Nigeria, while the leather complies with stringent environmental and sourcing standards set by the Leather Working Group (LWG). The refined ready-to-wear collection includes a range of tailored separates, knitted tops and pants, flowing silhouettes and sharp, casual pieces that can easily be worn with more sophisticated looks. Key highlights include a black-and-white, swirl-print shirt made from 100% silk; matching pants crafted in a unique, Italian hemp material; bright-hued, vertical-striped sweaters made in a Merino wool-cotton blend; and a beautifully finished, tailored blazer with tonal, topstitch detailing. Prices for the exclusive KARL LAGERF ELD X KENNETH IZE collection range from €99 to €695.
