Farfetch Celebrates its Middle East Community with “Get Together”

In March, Farfetch unveiled its new way to explore the world of fashion with the launch of Farfetch Communities - a celebration and showcase of bespoke content, curated by the platform’s global community of tastemakers. Following this, Farfetch created “Get Together” a campaign to spotlight modern interpretations of modest dressing powered fully from the Middle East and celebrating the region’s community of creatives, storytellers and content creators.

“Get Together” features Arab people who are shaping the Middle Eastern cultural landscape from all corners of the globe, united by their love of fashion and ever-changing narrative of self-expression and individuality. The people featured ranges from an emerging female director, to a regionally recognized jewelry designer, to a Saudi Arabian photographer and aspiring filmmaker, to a Tunisian model celebrating body positivity, to an 18 year old Egyptian creative who rocks a buzz cut and has future ambitions of being a lawyer while using her creative expression as a vehicle to break cultural taboos.
